The Lepus Cloth

Description

A rough draft of a Cloth design. This idea hit me when I was looking through Saint Seiya fan art; I wanted to get started with creating my own OC for imaginative & art practice purposes, so I looked up a constellation that I liked the most. Not sure if this one's been "done" before as far as fan Saints go, but I really liked coming up with a background for this one. I have an idea for a character to wear this cloth, so I'll probably draw it in the future.

About the Lepus Cloth:

-This is a Silver(or Bronze, haven't decided yet) rank Cloth. It's not a powerful cloth as far as other examples go, but it's up there.

-This cloth also goes by the name of the Rabbit or the Hare

-The myth behind this cloth is a simple one: Lepus was one of the animals hunted by Orion

-The story behind the seemingly harmless Lepus Cloth is that it won't awaken until it finds a "host" that satisfies its criteria of being affected by any type of mind malady (a play on the March Hare in the Alice in Wonderland story, as well as the time of the year where rabbits go 'insane' during mating season).

-The Cloth most often seeks children to imbue its power on, at the cost of the wearer's degenerating sanity--the only way the wearer can overcome this debility is to prove to the cloth you have mastery & control over your mentality.

-If the wearer of the Lepus Cloth manages to conquer the will of the Cloth, he or she will be granted abilities related to the mind and the wearer's legs. The fighting style of this Cloth is different from the average hand-to-hand Saint in that the power mainly lies in the strength of the wearer's kicks and mentality. The best way to shut the Lepus Saint down is to, well, maim his/her legs or turn their mental attacks against them.
